Press near where four pots meet to show a rotation ring around a 2×2 square. The selected square stays fixed while you drag. Drag right for clockwise or left for counterclockwise. Release to turn those four pots in the direction shown by the arrow. Line up three or more matching plants anywhere on the board.
Matched plants clear, survivors fall, and fresh plants fill the spaces. Cascades grow your score. Take as long as you like.
Keep playing until no scoring rotations remain. That ends your run: see your score, then refresh the patio.
A calico cat
Each cleared tile earns 100 base points. Each cascade adds 0.1 to the move’s multiplier. Every five completed turns adds another 0.1 from the next move onward. These bonuses add together and apply to all points earned that move. The multiplier beside Score shows your progress bonus.
Every run uses all seven plant colors from the start. Bloodroot is a separate wildcard with a rainbow border and dark grey background; it does not count as an ordinary color.
A tap or small finger movement does not rotate. Drag a little left or right to choose a direction. Return to the starting position before releasing to cancel; the arrows disappear when neutral. Squares overlap freely, including along every edge. Release from neutral or slide off the board to cancel. Rotations that make no match are undone without using a turn. A selected bloodroot clears the plant color at its destination in the chosen direction.
Four in a row makes a 3×3 surrounding burst. Five makes a wildcard: include it in a rotation to clear the kind at its destination in the chosen direction. A T, L, or + match makes an upgrade that clears both its row and column. Specials activate when matched or hit by another special. New plants have a 1 in 1,000 chance (0.1%) of arriving as bloodroot, a wildcard you can rotate to clear the kind at its destination in the chosen direction.
